Tebow Named Starting Quarterback For 2012

Just read on the Los Angeles Times website that Tim Tebow has been named as the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos for the 2012 season. This was announced today by John Elway during a news conference. I believe that Tebow totally earned this opportunity based upon his performance and his helping the Broncos make the playoffs this year.

Sure, Tebow is young and has a lot to learn but he appears to have the determination and heart to lead the Broncos next year.

I also read a critics articles which indicated that Tebow will never win a Super Bowl. Are you kidding me? The poise Tebow showed this year as a rookie indicates, to me at least, that Tebow possesses the tools necessary to lead a team to a Super Bowl. Not to mention, he has shut the critics up so many times before, ie College National Championship, Heisman Trophy, NFL starter.

End Of A Great Season For The Broncos

Well, the outcome of the playoff match-up between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots did not come out as hoped with a one sided game controlled by the Patriots winning 45 to 10. But the momentum that Tebow and the Broncos will carry into next season is tremendous.

I just read a news article which posed the question, If Tebow and the Broncos Lose - Does God Lose Also? While I do not agree that God has an interest in who wins football games; I do believe that God will use a losing Tim Tebow just as quickly as He will use a winning Tim Tebow. So my answer to the question posed by the author of the article previously mention would be - No, God does not lose when Tim Tebow loses.

Congratulations to the Denver Broncos a great season and their appearance in the 2012 NFL Playoffs.

Tim Tebow's Faith

There has been a great deal of excitement and discussion about the success Tim Tebow has enjoyed as the quarterback of the Denver Broncos during the 2011/2012 NFL Football Season. There has been as much talk about Tebow's faith as their has been about his success. Unfortunately, there are numerous individuals criticizing Tebow's willingness to show his faith. I really don't get it. There are numerous professional athletes that can't seem to stay out of trouble and you have a guy like Tebow that utilizes his status as an NFL quarterback to accomplish positive things in his community as well as proudly professing his faith in God. I for one wish there were more athletes that conducted themselves like Tebow. Lets face it, professional athletes were given their athletic abilities from God. More athletes should be as gracious and professional as Tebow when it comes to thanking and giving praise and credit to the one that gave them their talent.

I am pulling for Tebow during their game against the New England Patriots.
